-Show significant promise as a health services researcher or policy-oriented practitioners (doctors, health service managers, government officials, or journalists);
-Have demonstrated expertise in health policy issues and track record of informing health policy through research, policy analysis, health care, or clinical leadership;
-Have a master's degree or doctorate (or equivalent thereof) in health care services, health policy research, or related discipline, such as economics or political science (consideration may be given to candidates with a bachelor's degree only, depending on work experience);
-If-based academic, was in mid-career level (eg, senior faculty research associate). Scholarship Description: The American University Online Commonwealth Fund invites promising mid-career researcher-academic professionals, doctors, managers, government policymakers, and journalists-from Australia, Germany, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland, and England, to apply for a unique opportunity to spend up to 12 months in the United States as a Harkness Fellow in Health Care Policy and Practice.
